Matt has over 20 years in the HR industry and has been with HRchitect since 2004. He currently serves as President and the firm’s principle HCM analyst. As one of the industry’s leading analysts on HCM Systems Vendors, Matt studies the marketplace and meets with vendors on a regular basis to stay on top of trends in this industry. Matt has moderated numerous HCM shootouts & panel discussions for vendors & HR organizations. He has also been a featured speaker on HCM solutions and workforce trends at various industry & vendor conferences.
As President & CEO, Matt oversees all aspects of HRchitect’s operations including client success, consulting operations, worldwide sales of HRchitect services, marketing, alliances, finance and corporate development. Matt enjoys working with the HRchitect team and the satisfaction he gets from watching our people grow personally and professionally within the organization, and the positive difference our consulting services make in our clients’ organizations.
Matt is a past recipient of the “21 Leaders of the 21st Century” by Inside Collin County Business, served on the IHRIM.link editorial committee and has appeared on HR Examiner’s Top 25 Most Influential lists multiple times.
When Matt isn’t working with the HRchitect team, HCM vendors and our clients, he enjoys traveling with his spouse, who owns a travel agency, and spending time with their six children, as well as supporting the prevention of cruelty to animals. Matt is also arguably one of Bruce Springsteen’s biggest fans, having seen him perform live over 50 times during the past few decades as well as amassing a sizeable collection of Springsteen memorabilia and live recordings. Originally from Boston, he is also an avid follower of Boston sports teams, especially the Bruins, Patriots and Red Sox.
Jacqueline is an HR professional with over 20 years’ experience in Strategic Planning, Systems Management, Project Management, Services Delivery and General Human Resources. Throughout Jacqueline’s career, she has worked with organizations such as, Sears, Beam, OshKosh and Johns Hopkins to create strategic plans around their Human Capital Management systems, as well as leading selection and implementation projects for Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and HRIS systems.
In her role at HRchitect, she oversees our HCM strategic consulting group which encompasses HRchitect’s HCM systems strategic planning and evaluation and selection practices. Jacqueline spends much of her time with HCM vendors being briefed on their technology offerings, ensuring that we provide the most current information to our clients who are looking for a new solution. Jacqueline enjoys working with organizations to impact their HCM strategies through the utilization of technology.
Jacqueline is a Certified Professional of Human Resource Information (HRIP). She also works extensively with IHRIM and is a Summit Award Winner, is currently on the Board of Directors for the HRIM Foundation, after serving as the foundation’s President where she developed educational courses on HR technology use and best practices.
When she isn’t working with HRchitect clients or IHRIM and the HRIM Foundation, Jacqueline enjoys dog training and is also a classically trained Pianist.
Brian has over 20 years of expertise in the Human Resources domain including over 15 years in systems development and implementation. Since he stated with HRchitect in 2000, Brian has led project management, functional consulting and training responsibilities in over 75 Applicant Tracking system evaluations and implementations. He is well versed in all aspects of the HR domain, including Applicant Tracking, Talent Management, Workforce Management, and the related technologies.
In his current role at HRchitect, Brian manages the firm’s HCM systems implementation services teams and leverages his extensive implementation expertise to develop HRchitect’s proprietary implementation methodologies and mentor his team. Brian’s expertise in managing and implementing HR systems has also resulted in numerous speaking engagements and published articles on how to successfully manage HCM technology projects. Brian enjoys the energy that comes from building something together with our consulting team and our clients that truly makes a difference within their organization. He feels that as a consulting organization we are able to bring a perspective to bear with our clients that is enabled by HRchitect’s continued commitment to vendor neutrality.
When Brian isn’t working with his teams or speaking on HCM implementation best practices, he enjoys cooking and experimenting with Fusion Cuisine as well as developing his own estate cidery in Winnipeg, Canada.
John joined HRchitect in 2000 and has over 30 years of Human Resources and HRMS experience as both a practitioner and at the senior level. John’s primary areas of consulting expertise include HCM systems such as core HR, Employee Performance Management and Talent Management systems. He also facilitates Strategic Planning sessions, assists with the HR and Payroll systems impacts of mergers and acquisitions, and works extensively with global organizations.
In his current role at HRchitect, John is responsible for leading and building HRchitect’s consulting services operation. He enjoys working with our clients and their consulting teams during their projects to manage their timelines and budgets, utilizing the skills he developed while working for a Fortune 100 company.
John is a founding member of IHRIM and has served on the IHRIM International Board of Directors in various positions and is the current President of the Southern California Chapter. Currently, John serves as President of the HRIM Foundation and is a member of IHRIM’s Leadership Effectiveness Committee. He is one of a select group of IHRIM members having been the recipient of all three of IHRIM’s highest honors: Summit Award, Chairman’s Award and Ambassador Award.
When John isn’t working with our consulting organization and clients or with IHRIM and the HRIM foundation, John enjoys spending time with his spouse, who is a screen writer and has written episodes for TV as well as short films.
Erin Cavender joined HRchitect in 2012 as the Vice President of Finance and Operations. She has over 16 years of corporate accounting and key financial analysis experience in the bio-chemical, finance, and travel industries.In addition to her financial expertise, Erin has worked on special projects focused around human resources, benefits, corporate organization, investor relations and Sarbanes-Oxley.
In her role at HRchitect, Erin leverages her diverse background, spearheading the activities supporting the analytics and reporting of the financial function and operations initiatives at HRchitect. Erin enjoys her daily interactions with our organization as well as our amazing clients and partners.
When Erin isn’t working with HRchitect’s team and our clients, she enjoys volunteering at her daughters’ schools as well as being active playing tennis and running. Erin ran the New York City Marathon in 2004.
