President and CEO John Shackleton and team kicked off the 6th annual user conference, SilkRoad Connections, with a presentation focused on customer success, the ongoing partnership of SilkRoad and its customers, and looking ahead to a rapidly-changing workforce.

SilkRoad’s opening remarks also included a celebration of its customers by recognizing the top ten Champions, SilkRoad’s customer advocacy group, one of the largest in the industry with over 180 companies and more than 250 individuals.

A highlight of this year’s conference will be the announcement of the winners of SilkRoad’s newly-minted Golden Portal Awards. The Golden Portal Award is given to SilkRoad customers with an outstanding and exemplary onboarding portal. The judging panel, which includes Brandon Hall Group’s Kyle Lagunas and experts from SilkRoad, looked at over 30 submissions from around the globe and selected finalists based on onboarding content, visual design, and ease-of-use.
