SAN FRANCISCO and TORONTO – September 13, 2016Achievers, an industry leader in employee recognition and rewards solutions, today announced the winners of the Elite 8 at the Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces™ Awards Gala. The Elite 8 distinction recognizes the eight companies that received the highest scores for each of the Eight Elements of Employee Engagement—the criteria used by Achievers to determine the Most Engaged Workplaces winners.

The 2016 Elite 8 winners are:

“An engaged workforce is one in which employees are fully involved in and enthusiastic about their work, inspire others and invest discretionary effort to ensure that their organization succeeds,” said David Brennan, Achievers general manager. “The companies identified as the Elite 8 demonstrate a firm understanding of what it takes to foster a high level of workplace engagement and have the results to show for it. We are thrilled to congratulate these eight companies; for positively shaping their corporate culture, investing in the development of their teams, and recognizing employee accomplishments, they set the standard for what employee engagement should be.”

The Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces Awards are designed to recognize and celebrate top employers in North America that display leadership and innovation in engaging their workplaces, as evaluated by a judging panel of employee engagement academics, thought leaders and influencers. Among the 50 companies selected as winners, the judging panel selected eight companies that represent the best of the best, with regards to the Eight Elements of Employee Engagement.
