Achieves Highest Possible Rating for Commitment to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Equality in the Workplace for a Seventh Consecutive Year

ROSELAND, NJ — (Marketwired) — 11/18/15 — ADP® has once again been recognized as a top-rated employer by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) — the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization. The company joins the ranks of 391 major U.S. businesses which also earned top marks this year.

For the seventh consecutive year, ADP received a 100 percent rating in the HRC’s 2016 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The 2016 CEI rated 1,024 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community. ADP’s efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria resulted in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.

“Maintaining our perfect score in the CEI is great validation of our ADP branding, ‘A more human resource’,” said Dermot O’Brien, chief human resources officer, ADP. “As part of our talent recruitment strategy, we continue to work with our LGBT Business Resource Group, PRIDE, on ways to expand awareness and outreach efforts that create a workplace environment that is welcoming to all.”
