Company Builds Team, Welcomes New Clients and Expands Offerings Throughout 2014
LEBANON, N.H. – March 11, 2015 – Appcast.io™, the first pay-per-applicant job ad exchange, today announced details of its strong performance in 2014. Launched on January 1, 2014, the company achieved significant growth and momentum in its first year of operation, setting the stage for continued success as more organizations recognize the value of its solutions for sourcing right-fit talent cost-effectively.
“In a relatively short time, Appcast.io has made a strong impression on the market in 2014, delivering a commonsense, pay-for-performance recruitment advertising model that aligns the interests of employers and job boards in new and transformative ways,” said Chris Forman, CEO and founder of StartDateLabs, the parent company of Appcast.io. “As Appcast.io continues to evolve and help companies find top talent more efficiently, we anticipate continued growth and success.”
Since its launch, Appcast.io has expanded considerably. Overall, the company welcomed more than 100 clients last year, representing a wide range of sizes and industries, that sought to transform their talent acquisition processes and focus recruitment advertising budgets more strategically.
“Appcast.io’s pay-per-applicant model is extremely effective in allowing customers to see their ROI when using the product. It gives great visibility into job performance with easy to understand dashboards, and the staff is always available to help whenever needed,” said Dave Govert, manager, Talent Acquisition for Appcast.io client, CDW.
Appcast.io also grew its own team substantially, making several leadership appointments in 2014, including: Nancy Cromwell as senior vice president of Sales, following leadership positions with ADP, AIRS and The Right Thing; Dzmitry Nikitsin, formerly of StartWire, as CTO; and Rob Green, previously with Baird Capital, as vice president of Marketing. The company also developed teams across its Sales, Marketing, Technology and Operations groups to meet early and growing demand for its solutions. Today, the team consists of 25 full-time employees between its headquarters in Lebanon, N.H. and an additional office in Cambridge, Mass.
Further driving the company’s success was the ongoing development and expansion of its core platform. Through a robust network of more than 6,000 career and consumer sites, Appcast.io enables talent acquisition leaders to focus their recruitment advertising budgets more efficiently, paying only when a job application is completed. The company’s innovative technology brings advanced programmatic online ad buying to the human capital management (HCM) market, enabling employers to set ad budgets by month or day, job, job function or business unit.
Key to Appcast.io’s successful 2014 performance was its expanding partnership network. The company currently has direct integrated partnerships with several leading applicant tracking system (ATS) providers, including iCIMS, Jobvite, Oracle Taleo and Healthcare Source, and plans to further expand its partnerships with more ATS providers in 2015. Appcast.io’s publisher network has also grown considerably, gaining more than 25 new partners in 2014.
Appcast.io was named a winner of the prestigious Human Resource Executive® Top HR Product Award, honoring the company’s platform as one of the most innovative HR solutions to be released in 2014. The company also received the Platinum Award – the highest honor – from the Recruiting Service Innovation Awards, recognizing how Appcast.io optimizes the recruiter experience.
As the company looks to the future, it plans to capitalize on the strong momentum gained in its inaugural year by building upon the product, and expanding its ATS and publishing partner networks. Also a priority, the company seeks to deliver its solution to new markets, to both direct employers and agency clients.
