Company to hire more than 100 new staff to drive customer success during benefits open enrollment season

CHARLESTON, S.C., July 26, 2018 — Benefitfocus, Inc. , a leading cloud-based benefits management platform and services provider, today announces their Tulsa, Okla. office is moving to accommodate their expanding operations. The company, which is headquartered in Charleston, S.C., has had a presence in Tulsa since 2010 and is moving to a larger space in the Cityplex Towers at 2488 E. 81st St., Suite 1700, occupying the entire 17th floor. Benefitfocus plans to open the office in September, shortly after Labor Day.

In conjunction with the office expansion, the company plans to more than double their staff and hire 100 new staff members as part of its growing customer success organization, which guides customers through benefits open enrollment planning and advises consumers on new benefits product features.

“Building on the momentum of our largest and most successful open enrollment season in 2017, we are preparing to deliver even more in 2018 by adding talented associates to support our clients and their employees during this critical season,” said Benefitfocus President and CEO, Ray August. “Our clients tell us that our ability to help employees navigate open enrollment is one of the many key attributes of partnering with Benefitfocus. We provide employers the support they need to cover their most important investment: their employees. And while the majority of employees are happy to engage entirely through our intuitive and seamless platform on mobile or online, for a small percentage of the millions of people selecting benefits during this peak season we stand by ready to assist on behalf of our clients.”

The Tulsa office expansion follows a new Benefitfocus office opening in Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as New York City, helping Benefitfocus add new staff to strengthen its relationships with carrier, employer and broker partners, and pursue additional organic growth opportunities.
