Relatability Solution Assesses Interaction Style & Dynamics; Provides Practical Coaching To Engage Employees & Help Teams Thrive
Minneapolis, MN, March 9, 2015 – Ceridian announces that on February 25 it closed a transaction, acquiring most of the assets of RelatedMatters, Inc. RelatedMatters launched a team relatability solution to develop thriving relationships amongst employees and help organizations build better cultures. The solution, named TeamRelate was named an Awesome New Startup for HR by Human Resource Executive® Magazine in 2014. TeamRelate provides valuable assessment information and practical coaching, helping colleagues communicate and collaborate effectively.

The essence of any human relationship is based on building trust and transparency through communications and actions. The relatability solution assesses current mood and communication style based on the completion of a brief survey. Through the application, colleagues are able to see the communication styles and engagement levels of their teammates and learn how to best relate and adjust their own communication style to achieve productive conversations, problem solving and conflict resolution.
As part of this acquisition, the two co-founders of RelatedMatters, both experienced senior executives in the HCM industry, have joined the Ceridian senior executive team. Jon Harris joins as senior vice president, RelatedMatters. In this role, Jon is responsible for the delivery of the award-winning relatability solution to market. Ted Malley joins as senior vice president, Product Evangelism. Ted will lead the development of content strategies that drive internal and external messaging and mediums for all target audiences.
