Sarah’s experience spans a wide variety of industries including government contractors, professional services, hospitality, retail, and construction. Sarah’s functional and technical expertise, along with experience gained as a UKG Pro Payroll Analyst at a UKG client provides Sarah with a unique ability to design and operate highly effective HCM systems.

What do you do when you’re not working? Play with my dog (Chico—1yr old Husky/Pit Mix), spend time with friends, and do some volunteering for a children’s football league (fundraising assistance).
How did you find out about HRchitect, and what made you join the company? HRchitect was hired as a consulting team by the company I previously worked for.
How has your background impacted your experience as a consultant? Having so many years working with UKG and having been through multiple conversions in different industries as a client, I understand what the client is feeling and am able to anticipate some of their needs by listening to them speak about their current work environment and manual processes.
In your own words, what do you do at HRchitect? I configure UKG to fit each client based on their stated needs and wish lists. I help guide them through the system to understand how their new system works, best practices and where to find answers.
What’s a typical workday like for you? A combination of replying to emails with questions on “How to” or “best practices” with UKG. I configure UKG and make updates to the configuration based on each client’s needs. I also assist some clients in getting the most from their live system and help them make updates so the system serves them better.
Tell me about a project you’ve worked on that you’re particularly proud of? I am very proud of a recent manufacturing client I am working with. We built a great relationship and I am proud of the work I did for them.
What’s been one of your favorite destinations to travel to for a client site visit? I have only been to one client in Wabash, IL. It was a cute little town.
As part of a team that works 100% virtually, what technology or collaboration tools do you use to make your work life easier? A separate phone specifically for work to assist in work/life balance and One-Note to help me take notes during calls and ensure I don’t forget something.
What motivates you to wake up and go to work every day? The lovely house I just purchased 😊
Which employee perk that HRchitect offers do you enjoy the most? Why? Flexibility in my workday. It allows me to handle life items that must be completed during a 9 – 5 workday while still meeting the needs and deadlines of the clients that I am assigned.
