ROSELAND, N.J. – April 14, 2015 – ADP®, a leading global provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, today announced that Didlake, Inc., a provider of contract services and rehabilitative services for people with disabilities, has significantly expanded its relationship with ADP by implementing an array of ADP human capital management solutions, including HR, benefits administration, recruiting management, time and labor management, and payroll.

For 50 years, Didlake has created opportunities that enrich the lives of people with disabilities, many of whom work for the company. As one of the leading participants in the U.S. government’s AbilityOne® program, Didlake provides access to the largest source of employment for people with disabilities in the United States.

“We’ve found that people – regardless of their abilities – tend to perform to the level of expectation that is set for them,” said Rex Parr, chief executive officer of Didlake, Inc. “We begin with high expectations for every person we serve – and when those expectations are met, we set the bar higher. It works for our company and staff, as well for the individuals with disabilities who we serve.”

Ivy Tetreault, IT director and the HCM implementation project manager at Didlake, said they had a clear focus on what they needed to help the organization address its critical business issue.

“We needed a traditional HR payroll system that was integrated,” she said. “We also needed a reporting solution that could help us collect unique data in a user-friendly way, and let us report on it easily and efficiently.

“ADP provided a reporting system that helps us deliver real-time data to help our leaders make decisions,” Tetreault said. “We have a simpler more streamlined system into which we enter data, and a tool that enables us to run the reports we need. That’s what we were missing before. ADP integrates data points from three different areas – HR, payroll and time – and significantly improves and simplifies our reporting process. Now, managing data entry and running payroll reporting is vastly improved and is so much easier.”

Mark Benjamin, president of Global Enterprise Solutions at ADP, said he was delighted that Didlake appreciated the flexibility and simplicity of ADP’s solutions.

“We’ve taken the time to make our systems simple and easier to use,” Benjamin said. “It’s gratifying to see a client like Didlake benefit from all we’ve learned in 65 years of work with businesses of every size.”

Didlake said it also chose ADP because it needed an HR solution that was adaptable enough to meet the unique requirements of its employee and client communities.

“We really needed a system that is user-friendly given the demographics of our workforce,” Tetreault said. “From an HR perspective, we have a group of people to whom we provide service. They don’t get paid, but we collect and report on a large amount of data relevant to them that’s not traditional HR data.

“A second group does get paid for tasks they perform in our business service center; and they get paid by the piece,” Tetreault continued. “We have to pay and report on that per-piece productivity. There are different pay systems for piece rates and varying levels of abilities, as well as rates on what contract they are on – night shift or day shift. So, there’s a position management element that ADP helps us address.”

ADP’s combination of technology and its expertise was a definite differentiator, Tetreault said.

“It was exceptional working with ADP,” she said. “It was a great implementation from a well-oiled machine and as close to flawless as I could expect. Everybody was exceptional. We had a large team, and everyone knew what they were accountable for. They knew their stuff.”
