Investment to Support Company’s Rapid Growth and Fuel International Expansion

NEW YORK (August 25, 2015)Greenhouse Software, the leading recruiting optimization platform, today announced that it has raised $35 million in Series C funding, led by Thrive Capital and with additional funding by return investors Benchmark and The Social+Capital Partnership as well as Groupe Arnault.

“Greenhouse is the true market leader, having separated itself from a crowded field to improve the hiring process,” said Will Gaybrick, Partner at Thrive Capital. “Thrive Capital has seen Greenhouse’s proprietary system in action with many of our portfolio companies, and we are proud to lead this investment as Greenhouse continues to develop the most groundbreaking recruitment solutions on the market.”

This latest round of financing follows Greenhouse’s previous round of $13.6 million in Series B funding announced in March. The funding is testament to the company’s growth and rapidly increasing adoption of its talent acquisition platform. Designed to help companies compete better for top talent and optimize their recruitment, Greenhouse helps employers hire the best candidates the first time. The result is that employers can more effectively find talent with the needed skills and cultural fit through a much faster hiring process while delivering an enhanced candidate experience.

Greenhouse will leverage the $35 million investment to sustain its rapid growth and hire additional people to support its mission of developing new solutions to the biggest problems in talent acquisition. The company also plans to further expand its sales, marketing, services and product development initiatives to secure its position at the forefront of recruitment innovation. In addition, the round of funding will help Greenhouse expand to new markets and provide employers around the globe with the recruiting technology to transform how they recruit.

“Greenhouse is dedicated to delivering the technology that enables employers to optimize their recruitment and hire top employees faster,” said Daniel Chait, CEO of Greenhouse. “We are thrilled that our investors recognize the current strength and future promise of our technology. This significant investment will enable us to further grow our team and develop new capabilities to meet the recruiting needs of companies today and tomorrow.”
