Experienced Executive Appointed to Lead Next Phase of Brand and Product Growth for Industry Leaders in Talent Management Software

(June 15, 2015) — PageUp, an award-winning, Multinational Talent Management Software provider, today announced the addition of experienced marketing executive, Daniel McDermott, as Global Chief Marketing Officer. In his new role, McDermott will lead a diverse and global team focused on driving cultural transformation and developing marketing strategies that deliver business growth.

With nearly 20 years of international marketing experience, McDermott has established himself as a valued business partner who understands how to best position brands through effective marketing approaches. Prior to joining PageUp, he served as a Vice President of Marketing for CA Technologies, the fourth largest independent software vendor in the world. While in that role, McDermott implemented a comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategy, beginning in Australia and rolling out across the Asia Pacific region, resulting in a significant increase in the quantity and quality of the sales pipeline.
Throughout his impressive career, McDermott has taken on progressively more challenging sales and marketing roles within leading technology companies, such as Ericsson, Damovo and RequestDSL. He is the recipient of more than a dozen sales and marketing awards, including recognition of his marketing communications excellence by the Australian Marketing Institute. McDermott is a graduate of Monash University with a Bachelor of Business degree in international trade.
