SAP NEWSBYTE — December 14, 2016 — SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced that as of Q3 2016, more than 2,000 customers have chosen SAP ® Workforce Performance Builder software since its launch in 2012, providing their employees with training whenever and wherever they need it. The SAP solution is available on premise and in the cloud and enables customers to create and deliver learning content, including new in-application user assistance. The cloud edition of SAP Workforce Performance Builder saw high-triple-digit user growth rates in 2016 alone, reflecting the strength of and demand for the SAP Education offering in the cloud.

“Our customers understand that success depends on the skills of their employees,” said Karie Willyerd, global head of Customer Education and Learning at SAP. “The digital transformation drives learning and enablement needs as it demands organizations to embrace change — and SAP Workforce Performance Builder is SAP’s strategic solution to achieve the required level of user adoption.”

SAP Workforce Performance Builder helps companies manage all areas of modern corporate learning such as rollout and performance support, change management, compliance and soft skill training. In addition, it delivers next-generation user assistance, providing context sensitive help through pop-up windows in the application. Customers can see an example of in-application user assistance in SAP S/4HANA ® Cloud software and utilize content created in SAP Workforce Performance Builder in the SAP Fiori ® app “My Learning.”

“Due to the power and flexibility of SAP Workforce Performance Builder, we have been able to create a state-of-the-art knowledge management and performance support solution for our SAP and non-SAP software landscape,” said Dr. Arnulf von Kienle, IT team manager for training at Evonik Industries AG. “We have been able to establish a reliable single source of truth for IT knowledge-related material and feel well equipped and ready for our upcoming SAP HANA ® changeover.”

To accelerate the adoption of the software, customers and partners will now be able to access a new collection of useful product information, interactive basic training, and premade content and templates for download within the newly released SAP Workforce Performance Builder 9.5 SP2. The material was created using SAP Workforce Performance Builder, enabling customers to get up and running quickly. The Info Center is available both in the software and at www.sap.com/wpb.
