- Siemens has opted for the Meta4 PeopleNet Cloud solution for payroll and personnel management of 6,300 employees the company has in 8 countries.
Madrid, July 16, 2015. Siemens, a multinational company, of German origin operating in various sectors and with more than 350,000 employees located in over 200 countries, has selected the PeopleNet Cloud solution from Meta4, a Spanish multinational company specialized in human and intellectual capital management solutions (HICM). This solution will manage Siemen’s 6,300 employees located across 8 countries in the Andean region of South America.
Several months ago, Siemens started their search process for a technology solution that would allow them to unify various payroll and personnel management tools used to manage their employees in this region. The company required a homogeneous solution that would enable standardization of processes and be adaptable and flexible in the face of any internal or external changes. Generating, maintaining and consolidating information had to also be agile.
Additionally the project had to be built upon a global database, interfacing automatically with their corporate systems. It also had to offer Siemens significant cost reduction over their existing structure.
After an intense selection process in which major technology providers in the market participated, Meta4 PeopleNet Cloud was the final solution selected by the German multinational for payroll management and personnel administration of 6,300 employees that the company has in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Bolivia and Uruguay.
For Pedro Vaquero, Director General for Latin America, “Meta4’s powerful ready-to-go offer based on the regional cloud solution for Payroll with Core HR, together with Meta4’s proven capacity for execution in multinational projects, were key factors in this selection process.”
Siemens joins a large and growing group of companies that have chosen PeopleNet Cloud for managing various countries in the region using the same solution—companies such as, Kellogg, a world leader in cereal production with 4,000 employees located in 5 countries in Latin America: Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Guatemala; Digitex, a leading multinational specialized in outsourcing technology services with over 15,000 employees across 7 countries; Nalco, a leading global company for water, hygiene and energy technologies and services with around 4,000 employees in Argentina, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia and Chile. This new agreement strengthens Meta4’s presence in Latin America, a region expected to grow drastically.
