Honored for Excellence in Learning Technology Implementation

Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago won a coveted Brandon Hall Group bronze award for excellence in the Best Advance in Learning Technology Implementation category.
When Lurie Children’s Hospital moved from its 130-year-old building into a new facility, executives selected SilkRoad Learning to ensure a smooth, safe transition. Highlights of the seamless move include:
- 127 children with an array of medically complex conditions were successfully transported with zero safety issues
- 95% of Lurie employees completed training, contributing significantly to the organization’s remarkable safety record
- Training orientation for the facility was completed on-time and on-budget
“The statistics were impressive, but what was even more amazing was being there on day one to see how the kids were taken care of and watch the staff and physicians in action,” said Kimberly Evans Labok, project manager at Lurie Children’s Hospital. “It truly brought home how much training mattered.”
Entries were evaluated by a panel of veteran, independent and senior industry experts, as well as Brandon Hall group senior analysts and executive leadership.
