Tatum Promotes Matt Jones to Lead National Technology Practice

Jones to Draw Upon Exemplary Team-Building, IT Strategy Skills to Assist Clients with Most Complex Technology and Business Challenges

ATLANTA, April 15, 2015 – Tatum, a Randstad company and leading professional and interim services firm offering hands-on strategic, financial and technology solutions that measurably improve business performance, today announced the promotion of Matt Jones to National Technology Practice leader. In his expanded role, Jones will have responsibility for a team of Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and senior technology professionals who deliver strategic programs and services to clients across a variety of industries, from healthcare and transportation to manufacturing and government contracting.

A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Jones has more than 20 years of professional services experience. Jones began his time at Tatum as an engagement partner, working with Tatum professionals to address critical client needs through hands-on technology solutions. As a direct result of his exemplary relationship-building, sales and program management skills, he was given the opportunity to build Tatum’s East Region Technology Practice. Prior to joining Tatum in 2010, Jones demonstrated his business development and client relationship capabilities working with various clients across several industries both nationally and internationally while at Accenture. Throughout his career, Jones has been lauded for his ability to lead sales and project execution for a diverse set of work, such as IT strategy, project management, business process improvement and large-scale systems implementation and integration.

An active community volunteer, Jones serves as the athletic program leader for a local youth organization, and he is a member of the board of directors for a DC-based nonprofit by the name of Mentors of Minorities in Education. As a graduate of Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Jones was the recipient of the prestigious Mellon-Ford Research Scholar Undergraduate Fellowship.
