Experienced Energy and Healthcare Consultant to Provide C-level Expertise to Drive Greater Performance, Value for Tatum Clients
HOUSTON, September 24, 2015 – Tatum, a Randstad company and leading professional and interim services firm offering hands-on strategic, financial and technology solutions that measurably improve business performance, today announced the addition of Eric Marin as client service partner in the company’s Houston practice. A results-driven leader with a proven track record of success, Marin will be responsible for developing Tatum’s business in the Houston market with a specific focus on CFO and CIO services.
“Throughout the course of his career, Eric has earned his stripes in the management consulting industry, supporting and leading practices related to the energy and healthcare sectors both in the United States and abroad,” said Jim Schuchard, office managing partner of Tatum’s Houston practice. “Having overseen the merger of the consulting firm he founded, Eric is uniquely positioned to help companies integrate corporate cultures, systems, processes and talent. We look forward to Eric’s contributions to the Tatum team, and we are confident that his skills in this arena will enhance the services we provide to our clients in the Southwest region.”
Prior to joining Tatum, Marin founded R&M Global Advisors, which merged with MFR PC in 2012 to create a combined consulting firm specializing in Board, CEO, CFO and CIO advisory services for the energy sector. He also served as an energy partner for Accenture, where he managed the sales, planning and execution of large transformational programs for Fortune 100 companies in a number of operational areas, including enterprise resource planning (ERP), supply chain, finance and accounting, human resources and IT. Throughout his more than 25-year career, Marin has established a reputation for successfully implementing strategies, processes and technologies that help clients reduce costs, create organizational efficiencies, build first-class teams and address significant business issues.
Marin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Texas A&M University, in addition to a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Houston. He currently sits on the board of directors for the oldest and largest not-for-profit in Houston, Neighborhood Centers, and serves as the immediate past advisory council chair for the Texas A&M University Computer Science and Engineering Department.
Marin commented, “I take great pride in serving as an integral partner to my clients and finding solutions to their greatest challenges. I am excited to put my experience to work and help Tatum’s clients build value and drive sustainable transformations throughout their organizations.”
