HR Technology Veteran with Extensive Go-To Market Experience Joins to Accelerate Growth

LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–TMBC, a leading global provider of employee engagement and performance management solutions, today announced the appointment of Josh Schwede to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Based in Chicago, Schwede leads the company’s sales and marketing teams, working to expand TMBC’s leadership in the disruption of “employee engagement and performance status quo” by focusing on the power of the team leader.

“Josh has an excellent record of producing substantial growth and breakthrough thinking for leading companies, building strong customer and industry alliances, and creating high-performing teams,” said Jason Averbook, CEO, TMBC. “With each career advance, Josh has been a significant contributor to the creation of a de facto industry leader. His expertise combined with TMBC’s existing talent puts TMBC in a leadership category in revolutionizing the talent management space now more than ever.”

Schwede joins TMBC after a career-long focus catalyzing growth and propelling startup HR tech providers into game-changing industry leaders. At HireRight, he served as Director of Business Development, where he created a partner and alliance ecosystem that helped the company aggressively expand and eventually go public, joining NASDAQ in 2007. From there, he was recruited to be an original member of HireVue’s leadership team as Vice President of Business Development, helping create the digital interviewing market category and growing the company to more than 500 customers. His most recent endeavor was as Executive Vice President at QUEsocial, working with leaders such as HP, Enterprise Holdings and United Health Group, and solidifying the tech provider as a leader in social talent acquisition. Schwede holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the TMBC team at such an important time in the company’s journey,” said Schwede. “Employee engagement, performance and talent management are ripe for disruption, and TMBC is well positioned to advance the changes that must happen. Personally, I’m also a great believer in TMBC’s strengths-based approach to talent management and look forward to working with the team to evangelize to the world about the power this approach combined with world-class technology and services can have on an organization.”
