Ultimate Software, a leading provider of human capital management (HCM) solutions in the cloud, announced today that Ultimate has been named to Forbes’ list of the 25 Fastest-Growing Public Tech Companies in 2017. Firms featured on the Fast Tech 25 have demonstrated strong sales growth over the past three years and lead their industry in projected earnings growth for the next three to five years, according to Forbes.
“We’re pleased to be recognized by Forbes and named to this year’s Fast Tech 25,” said Scott Scherr, CEO, president, and founder of Ultimate. “We credit our dedicated people for this honor. They are fully committed to developing and delivering innovative HCM solutions and world-class service to our customers. Together, we continue to reach our strategic goals and remain on track to achieve our financial championships in the years to come.”
In determining the Fast Tech 25 list, Forbes considers approximately 5,000 publicly traded companies in the tech sector, looking for profitable firms with a minimum revenue of $150 million and a minimum market value of $500 million. Forbes identifies tech companies with sales growth of at least 10% for each of the past three fiscal years and over the last 12 months, and ranks firms in descending order based on their three-year-average sales growth.
“In the past year, we’ve welcomed more than 1,000 new people into our family,” said Vivian Maza, chief people officer at Ultimate. “But, throughout this growth, we’ve never lost sight of what’s most important: our employees. We’re focused every day on protecting our culture, preserving our core values, and ensuring we put all people first as we build an even stronger team.”
Joining Ultimate on Forbes’ Fast Tech 25 for 2017 are such companies as Facebook, Amazon, and Alphabet/Google. For more information and to view the complete list, visit www.forbes.com.
