Our client is a global portfolio of apparel brands, including leading athletic and lifestyle wear. They aim to make better apparel for people and, in turn, help communities and the planet, too.

The Challenge

With a global footprint of brands acquired worldwide, our client was managing multiple disparate HCM solutions. They wanted a true global solution, offering a single HCM platform that met the needs of their brands, offices, and employees globally.

They selected Dayforce, knowing it could be the unifying HCM solution. However, they needed a partner to implement Dayforce and roll it out across regions. They sought a partner not just with Dayforce implementation experience, but also with experience integrating Dayforce with other systems used by their global teams, so that Dayforce could become the single source of truth.

The Project

HRchitect worked with our client to develop a staggered rollout of Dayforce across regions. By sequencing integrations and regional deployments, implementation risks and business disruptions were minimized, while ensuring local systems would be integrated and that internal teams could support Dayforce going forward.

As part of this phased approach, HRchitect prioritized key integrations, enabling Dayforce to quickly become the single source of truth and to perform important functions, such as processing payroll.

Specifically, we prioritized:

  • Global HCM and Talent implementation, including Payroll and Time in the US and Canada.
  • Integrations with existing platforms, including feeding time tracking from the Time and Attendance system of record to Dayforce, allowing Dayforce to process payroll.
  • Providing client-side support, guiding the implementation, and serving as the client-side project lead for our client’s internal teams.
  • Partnering closely with the client’s internal teams to provide knowledge transfer, ensuring they could manage Dayforce independently moving forward.
  • Leveraging change management to help our client’s employees adapt to the new platform and help them to use it to its full power.

The Results

Upon completion of phase one, HRchitect successfully implemented Dayforce across the client’s priority regions and functions while maintaining continuity with existing local systems.

Key integrations to enable critical payroll processing, including time-tracking data from another system feeding into Dayforce payroll, were prioritized and successfully implemented. The client’s internal teams were equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to support Dayforce as the rollout continues, while consistent core HR and payroll processes were introduced to prepare for future standardization across the client’s global teams.

Upon completion of this first phase, Dayforce is positioned to become the long-term single source of truth for HR, payroll, and workforce data for the client, with additional regions and capabilities to be implemented in subsequent phases.
