Strategic Services Consultant

HRchitect’s strategic services consulting team is a growing, entrepreneurial team that specializes in delivering Human Capital Management (HCM) consulting services including: HCM technology strategy, system evaluation and selection, and change management consulting services.

Job Title: Consultant – Strategic Services

Location: Remote – Work from Home

Reports to: EVP, Strategic Consulting Services

Travel: 25%

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation:  Salary plus bonus

Job responsibilities: Under general direction of the EVP, Strategic Services, the consultant will be responsible for the creation of client project deliverables, coordination of meetings with clients, administration of the Alchemer survey tool, research on HCM vendors and general duties assisting the EVP, Strategic services in preparation for presentations and conferences.

This position will entail contributing to the Strategic Services practice, processes, and projects using established templates including:

  • Excel-based business case deliverables
  • MS Word project updates and meeting
  • MS PowerPoint presentations for discovery workshops
  • MS PowerPoint presentations for RFI/RFP Summary Reports
  • MS Outlook calendar management for meeting coordination
  • Managing survey engagements and creating survey status reports in the Alchemer tool
  • Researching vendor capabilities and updating vendor marketplace database

Requirements: Candidates for the Strategic Services Consultant position should have a general knowledge of HCM processes and previous exposure to HCM systems, along with:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • 5-7 years of experience using HCM related technology
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities effectively in a fast-paced business environment
  • Ability to work from home
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team
  • Ability to travel at a minimum of 5 days per month
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; one in the Human Resources or Information Technology area is preferred

Workforce Management / Time and Attendance Consultants

Talent Acquisition Consultants

HRchitect is on the lookout for talented, passionate individuals with Talent Acquisition / Recruiting systems implementation consulting experience (Oracle Taleo, iCIMS, Jobvite, IBM Kenexa/BrassRing) to join our growing team. Duties may include:

  • Implementing talent acquisition products in customer facing engagements
  • Support and facilitate conversations to define business processes and document configuration requirements
  • Manage implementation meetings and provide technical implementation consulting
  • Facilitate change management within customer organizations and train end users
  • Serve as a Talent Acquisition software expert
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions
  • Project planning and analysis

  • HR knowledge/experience; strong knowledge of Talent Acquisition systems

Project Managers

HRchitect is looking for experienced project managers to join our consulting team.  As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading teams of consultants in the day-to-day tasks and activities such as requirements gathering, process design, system configuration, testing, and go-live, to support the implementation of a variety of HCM software platforms.

This is a Project Management position that requires strong project management and client management skills. However, knowledge of HCM systems such as HR, Payroll, Recruiting, and WFM systems is important. You should be a quick learner and clear communicator who can support the needs of our clients, consultants, and partners. Duties may include:

  • Provide day-to-day project management to ensure successful system implementation by establishing clear goals, identifying potential issues/risks, and developing contingency plans
  • Tracking progress and providing overarching communication and coordination
  • Work with multiple clients, projects, and consultants at a time
  • Work with the client to understand requirements and business needs
  • Develop and execute plans under delivery time, budget, and implementation constraints
  • Manage solution design along with applicable gap analysis and customization requirements
  • Assisting client with change management
  • Collect and analyze relevant data and take action accordingly.
  • Manage and resolve client issues
  • Managing project plan
  • Creating support plans and overseeing the transition to support
  • Collaboration with internal team to assist fellow consultants on other projects
  • Contributions to HRchitect’s thought leadership initiatives

Requirements:

  • Experience working with Payroll, HCM, WFM, or HRMS systems as a Project Manager
  • Experience managing full system implementation life cycle including Requirements Gathering, Scope Management, Process Design, System Configuration, Integration, User Acceptance Testing, Training, and Go-Live
  • PMP or other Project Management Certifications are a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Experience working independently without daily supervision
  • Ability to multitask between different projects and clients
  • Experience with HCM systems (UKG, Ceridian, SAP, Oracle, ADP, Workday) preferred
  • Familiar with HCM solution modules and concepts such as Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Open Enrollment, Time & Attendance, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance Management, Succession Planning
