Global Clothing Brand
Client Background
HRchitect partnered with a leading global clothing brand to define and execute a strategy for modernizing its HR technology landscape. The organization operated across multiple regions with over 60,000 employees, but lacked a unified global view of its workforce.
The company relied on a fragmented set of systems, including Lawson (on-premise ERP) for HR and Payroll, iCIMS for recruiting, Cornerstone for learning management, and internally built SharePoint applications for employee self-service. While Lawson supported U.S. employees effectively, it did not provide a scalable or comprehensive solution for global workforce management.
The Challenge
As the organization continued to grow globally, its HR technology landscape struggled to keep pace. The company relied on a mix of disconnected systems, including an on-premise ERP for HR and Payroll, alongside separate solutions for recruiting, learning, and employee self-service. This fragmented environment created inefficiencies, limited data visibility, and increased administrative burden across HR functions.
A key challenge was the lack of a unified, global system. While the existing HR platform supported U.S. employees, it did not provide a comprehensive or scalable solution for managing the organization’s international workforce. This resulted in inconsistent processes, limited reporting capabilities, and an inability to gain a holistic view of employee data across regions.
Additionally, reliance on legacy systems and internally built applications introduced risks related to compliance, data integrity, and long-term sustainability. The organization needed a modern, integrated solution that could support global operations, improve process efficiency, and align with future growth objectives.

HRchitect developed a detailed roadmap outlining key improvements across HR processes, compliance, and vendor-supported services. A critical objective was to transition from a regionally focused system to a scalable, global HCM platform that could support the organization’s international workforce.
In parallel, HRchitect created a business case to justify the transformation, aligning technology investments with operational efficiencies and long-term growth goals. The team also defined system requirements to support a formal evaluation process.
