What is your favorite thing to do in your free time? In her free time, she proudly embraces the role of “ultimate football mom.” With the flexibility of working from home, she’s able to jump right into carpool duty, not only for her two boys, but for a whole SUV full of teammates, to and from practices. Stocked with Gatorades and plenty of patience, she gets a front-row seat to all the chatter and “tea” from the teenage boys, even if it comes with a very smelly ride. Between the packed car, overflowing gear bags, and rolling down the windows for fresh air, she wouldn’t trade it for anything. It’s one of her favorite ways to support her kids and make memories along the way.
What is your title, and what do you do for HRchitect? As HRchitect’s Sales Operations Manager, she serves as Jennifer Sorenson’s right hand and the team’s go-to Salesforce administrator. From running reports for anyone who needs them to keeping the Sales Team operating smoothly, she plays a key role in making sure everything runs efficiently. She also takes the lead in training new team members, helping them hit the ground running and feel right at home. And of course, she’s the undisputed Calendar Tetris Master, a skill that keeps everyone on track and in sync.
How did you find out about HRchitect, and what made you interested in applying to join the company? Before joining HRchitect, she spent her career in oil and gas and had recently been staying home with her boys, taking on only small consulting projects. She first heard about HRchitect when Jennifer posted on social media that HRchitect was looking for an admin. The role sounded like a perfect fit, and the positive posts Jennifer shared about the company made her curious. She reached out, learned more about the position, applied, went through a few rounds of interviews, and soon found herself part of the HRchitect team.
Interestingly, their connection goes way back. Jennifer actually styled Rebekah’s hair when she won Mrs. Oklahoma in 2015. They weren’t close friends at the time, but they stayed in touch over the years, and that early connection eventually led to this exciting opportunity at HRchitect.
What do you like about working at HRchitect? 100% the people. Rebekah loves working at HRchitect because of the people and the collaborative culture. Everyone is genuinely willing to help one another, whether it’s consultants supporting the sales team, marketing helping sales, or peers assisting each other. When training new employees, she emphasizes the strong sense of teamwork and how everyone is ready to share their knowledge and lend a hand. She also appreciates the personal touches, like colleagues sharing life updates in Slack channels, which make the fully remote environment feel connected, warm, and supportive.
What project or initiative have you worked on that you are most proud of? The project she’s most proud of is the Salesforce implementation. From getting it up and running to continuously improving the system, she’s passionate about how it has transformed HRchitect’s sales organization. Today, the team can track every opportunity, including its current stage, the reasons for its win or loss, and the time it took to close. Beyond sales, the system benefits the entire organization, from finance to consulting, and she takes pride in constantly making updates that help teams work more efficiently and make data-driven decisions.
