Client Background

The Challenge
Picture this: Your WorkForce Software implementation partner and lifeline up until now has left you in the wind. Your email chains and call cadences have done more than go quiet: all communications have become radio silent immediately after go-live.
You’re in the middle of hypercare, and have a laundry list of enhancements that you planned on having this partner handle for you. Now who do you turn to?
For this client, the solution was clear: HRchitect.
HRchitect’s team quickly stepped in to deliver, immediately aligning a Lead Functional & Technical Consultant and a Lead Reporting & Integration Consultant to support this client.

The Project
Services provided:
After HRchitect’s dedicated consulting resources moved the client through hypercare to a more stabilized state after go-live, the focus shifted to enhancements. In this phase of the engagement, the HRchitect team met with the client team weekly to work through active support needs directly to build trust and to alleviate any uneasiness the client had regarding working with a support partner based on their experience with their former partner. The time spent building the relationship paid off as weekly meetings turned to bi-weekly meetings, and the focus shifted from ‘break-fix’ solutions to value-adding activities, with the HRchitect team acting as a natural extension of the client’s HR team.
Sampling of enhancements and outcomes delivered:
- Upgraded the existing WorkForce Software (2018 version) to the newer WorkForce Software suite to undergo further suite enablement, leveraging enhanced functionality and features such as a new user interface
- Configuration adjustments to drive compliance with a regulatory project related to a paid medical leave program
- Custom reporting to meet needs for executive visibility
- Setup and utilize APIs
- Setup WorkForce Software’s ‘Classic Job Scheduling’ feature, helping managers to optimize scheduling within the client’s manufacturing divisions
- Implementation of the absence-compliant tracking module
Another key focus was suite enablement, as the client’s existing suite had limited API capabilities. To access the full range of API services, HRchitect recommended and supported an upgrade to the latest version WorkForce Software suite and implementing the appropriate hub.
Since the initial engagement, HRchitect has remained a trusted partner for this client completing a series of projects contracted under HRchitect’s flexible concierge managed support offering. Projects spanned from standard regulatory items to areas of optimization that became opportunities for further collaboration between the HRchitect team and the client’s project stakeholders.
